The exhibition is based on the concept of sustainable development, as defined in the Brundtland report, in other words: "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs ".

It’s become a real emergency: recent decades have been marked by an incredible acceleration in mankind’s use of the Earth’s resources.

For two days, Pro Materia has selected designers and design brands which will transform more than forty rooms and the lobby of Thewhitehotel into solo creative exhibitions and temporary mini-shops.

On the ground floor, a customized bar will welcome guests with drinks and design installations and performances. Come to discover and buy Love Collections by talented designers and design brands.

Gifts with a Belgian and Norwegian touch will invade the entire floors. Lighting installation by Luc Vincent for Dark on the hotel front, a last tribute to the 5Oth anniversary of the Expo 58 in Brussels.
